What's Mook?

We drove down to Santa Barbara on Friday for a short trip in sunny SoCal.

On the way down we stopped at Pismo Beach to stretch our legs and play in the playground before dinner at Jocko’s (our fave steakhouse). Jocko’s is a total dive in a little town called Nipomo right off 101. Their Santa Maria style bbq’d steaks are as big as your head and only costs ~$30 pp. R loved the food too.

We checked into the Four Seasons Biltmore, and it is so gorgeous here. I was really excited to take R swimming in the pools. That’s all we did today. There’s a fancy pool in the private club right across the street on the beach. We went there this morning and the kiddie pool was very cute. R had fun playing with the other children. They were all splashing around and putting buckets over their heads. She really liked the older girls and walked over to say bye when we were leaving. After her nap we swam at the smaller pool in the hotel. It was deeper so I was able to get R to swim more. After swimming towards me and coming up for air she asked “where’d music go?” The pool has underwater speakers that play r&b and dance music!

Tomorrow we head over to the happiest place on Earth. R keeps asking me where her Snow White costume is to make sure I still have it haha. Then she says she wants to wear it at Disneyland… to be continued in Anaheim.
